Walkin' on Wednesday
Meet at 9 am to walk with neighbors in the community. All paces,
speed to snail, are welcome. If it rains, wait a week. For locations
of the Wednesday weekly walks, call Sue at 473-9262.
"Beautiful Bottles" with Chef Jeff
Tuesday, March 9
Learn how to make the decorative bottles sold in stores for a fortune.
Chef Jeff Stortz will teach this class in the kitchen of the new
Fairway House from 4-6 p.m. Bring your apron. It will be hands-on
and messy. Cost: $25 per person, limit of 10. We provide the bottles
and filling material.
KMLC Skills Clinic
Wednesday, March 10
KMLC will be teaching "the old game a new way" on the
second Wednesday of each month at Grayhawk Golf Club from 3-4 p.m.
Cost: $25 per person. Maximum 10 people.
Singles of all Ages
Thursday, March 11
Meet in the lobby of the Grayhawk Golf Club at 6:30 p.m. to plan

Simple Safeguards for Y2K
Tuesday, March 16
Elise Whyte will present a program on "Y2K" and what you
can do now to make a smooth transition into the next century. Grayhawk
Golf Club starting at 6:30pm.
Blood Drive
Tuesday, March 16
Grayhawk Elementary will be hosting a blood drive from 3-8 p.m.

Wine Tasting
Tuesday, March 23
This time around we are going to try "Wines of the New World"
with samples from Chile, Australia and California. Limited to 20
people, cost is $15 and we will meet on the patio next to Phil's
Grill from 5-7 p.m..
CPR Certification
Wednesday, March 24
Scottsdale Healthcare Systems will teach CPR at Grayhawk Golf Club
from 4-7 p.m.. Cost is $14 and we need a minimum of 6-8 people.

Programs Committee Meeting
Thursday, March 25
The Programs Committee will meet at Phil's Grille at 5:30 p.m. for
Happy Hour.

Our dine-around to the Scottsdale Culinary Institute is

The Grayhawk Book Club will meet on March 17 at 7 p.m..
This month's reading selection is "Message in a Bottle"

Community Kiosk
Look for information on the Easter Party, which will be
held at Grayhawk Park on Saturday April 3. Notices will be posted
at the mailboxes and on the Community Channel.
Kindergarten Registration will be at Grayhawk Elementary
from Monday April 5 to Friday, May 28th. You will need a Birth Certificate,
proof of residency and an immunization record. 5th Dimension
(Extended Day Kindergarten) will be at the school for registration
on April 5th only.
DeAnna Thornsbury is now handling the Babysitter Referral
List. Her phone number is 515-2597. Please call her if you are
interested in baby-sitting or if you need a sitter. Please remember
to check all references thoroughly.
Grayhawk Golf Club
At this time of year the practice facilities are available
only to guests playing golf at Grayhawk Golf Club. Starting May
1 through September 30 Grayhawk Golf Club will sell range passes
for $20. They will be available after the last tee time of the day.
Mail Delivery
Thank you to all whom took the time to call regarding the USPO
service at Grayhawk. Hopefully the enclosed list of numbers will
be helpful if you continue to have problems with mail delivery.
Development Update
Scottsdale Healthcare Systems has broken ground on the first
phase of their facility. The 30,000 square foot medical office complex
should be open in December 1999. Monterey Homes has purchased
a parcel in the south end of the Retreat on Grayhawk Drive. The
sales trailer should be open in April or May.
Serenity at Grayhawk custom lots are now available through
Dick Buckley at Pinnacle Peak Realty. For more information call
585-8181.
Association Update
The next Community Association Board of Director's Meeting will
be at 4 p.m. on Monday, March 1 at the Grayhawk Golf Club. You are
welcome to attend.
The Grayhawk HOA Annual Meeting will be March 18 at The
Fairway House. You should have received notification of this
in the mail.
FYI- Grayhawk Golf Club will serve Easter Brunch
on Sunday, April 4. There will be three seatings available: 9:30
am, 12 noon and 2:30 p.m.. This event usually sells out quickly.
